Brisbane City Council has made a twenty year, 100-million-dollar commitment to transforming the degraded Oxley Creek corridor. In 2018 Cultural Capital delivered the Oxley Creek Cultural Program for the project.
Our strategy outlines an approach to support the transformation of this abused environment into a cultural landscape. The strategy goes further to consider the ways in which art can support the broad project objectives, particularly commitments to the environment, the community and economic sustainability.
Cultural Capital developed a suite of initiatives to drive economic activation of the corridor, utilising the capacity of art to attract the interest of public, investors and media.
